From LA Classroom to Hollywood: A Creative Journey with Composer Pancho Burgos-Goizueta

A chance meeting at St. Raymond's school in Los Angeles sparked an enduring artistic friendship. As fellow teachers, Pancho Burgos-Goizueta and I bonded over creative pursuits – he as a gifted musician and composer, me discovering my path in photography.

Over the years, I watched Pancho perform at Chicago's Ravinia with iconic 80s bands like When in Rome and Naked Eyes, while simultaneously composing for film and television. As my photography business grew from a side hustle to a thriving studio in downtown Naperville, our paths remained intertwined.

When Pancho reached out for professional photos, the collaboration felt natural. The experience of renting studio space in Los Angeles for his shoot actually inspired the creation of Studio 25 Naperville. And yes, I'm always happy to travel to LA (or anywhere warm) for photo shoots, especially during Chicago's winter months! Now, these photos will accompany his latest achievement – composing for "The Unbreakable Boy," premiering this February.

From classroom colleagues to fellow artists supporting each other's dreams, this journey exemplifies the power of creative community. Whether you're seeking headshots in Chicago's western suburbs or studio space in downtown Naperville, every artistic journey starts with a single step.
