Your session is more than a photoshoot—it's a celebration of your story and the impact you've made. We'll create stunning portraits that capture both your outer beauty and inner light.

Before Your Session

• Consultation - Story Collection and Initial Planning

  • Schedule your pre-session consultation call with Emily

  • Share your journey and what you'd like to highlight

  • Discuss how you'd like your story to inspire others

• Session Planning (2-3 Weeks Before)

  • Connect with our styling partners to plan your treatments and looks - (Styled by Golden Iris, Radiant Med Spa, Lena Rose, The Now (Naperville), Kendra Scott Boutique (Naperville) and Regenerate Boutique - see more details below)

  • We will schedule hair and makeup with our beauty team.

  • Consider areas in your home or office where you might display your portraits

  • Book any treatments (Make sure to mention your participation in the Luminous Project to ensure you get your discounted rates)
    Massage: The Now - Use Luminous15 for 15% off any 50 or 80 minute massage
    Manicure/Pedicure: Lena Rose - Let Jenny know that you are participating in the Luminous Project for a special discount on a manicure and pedicure

  • Think of this as multiple shoots in one: your confident professional presence and your radiant personal triumph. Remember you are welcome to bring a friend, mom, sister, daughter to be photographed with you - it is an additional $200 for hair and makeup. You are also welcome to bring your family at the end for a casual studio portrait! We will discuss our plan during your consultation.

  The Day Before

  • Get a good night's rest

  • Drink lots of water and avoid alcohol

  • Gather any meaningful items you'd like to incorporate

  • Review session details and timing

  • Make sure outfits are laid out and pressed

  Session Day Experience

  • Arrive to the studio arrive 5 minutes early to settle in - I may be with another client but you are welcome to sit in our living room to get situated and ready for hair and makeup

  • Relax and let our team guide you

  • We'll capture both traditional portraits and candid moments

  • Share your story in a comfortable, supportive environment

  Image Selection & Ordering

  • View your portraits during our reveal and ordering session

  • Select your very favorite for the exhibition you will also receive the matching jpeg

  • Select images for various uses (personal, professional, project)

  • Choose display options for your home or office
